Missions Mini Alpines
Why Missions Mini Alpines?  These goats are bred specifically for my Global Ministries efforts.  Meaning either the animals themselves are donated to mission farms for Livestock Multiplication programs, or the proceeds from their sale goes into funding the purchase of local stock, or for setting up a microloan in a third world country.  These guys have the benefits of hybrid vigor, higher milk production, better feed utility, and year round breedability.  They're great for homestead milkers, or for supporting families in struggling nations. :)  Over the next few years, we'll be building up the herd of Missions Minis.

Missions Pattie Sue F1 Mini Alpine

Pattie Sue Rear Udder

DOB: 05/11/01
Height: 24.3"

Sire: ARMCH Twin Creeks LS Luck ofthe Draw +*S (Nigerian Dwarf)

(MCH HBF Luckey Stike +S 'E' x MCH/PGCH Raha Acres Twink's Pixie *D 'E')

Dam: Lesniak Hill D-M Dana (American Alpine)

(Cherry Glen Double A Motown x Chateau Briant's Desiree 2*M +EEV)

A great doe for Homestead Milkers.  Produce's  more milk than the Nigerians, less than the Standards, all  in a manageable "mini" package with a GREAT personality!

Pattie belongs to my daughter, Riana (she likes goat milk best ;). She's a nice little doe that should produce wonderful pet quality milkers. With her pedigree, she could be so much more, but I haven't registered her and likely won't bother. Pattie freshened with a nice udder, soft and super milkable, great capacity, easy to milk teats. A "typical" Lucky udder, and most definantly a GREAT improvement over her dam's mammary. I'd like to see her have a more level rump hips to pins, though she levels out quite a bit on the move. She doesn't pass a steep rump on to her kids. Pattie's kids have been consistantly excellent in quality.

Missions Belle F1 Mini Alpine

DOB: 03/05/07

Sire: SM3Pines PT Tsaber
(
Little Tots Estate Pseudotsuga  x ARMCH Gay-Mor Berry's Jurassic 2*D)

Dam: SM3Pines LD Pattie Sue
(ARMCH Twin Creeks LS Luck ofthe Draw +*S (Nigerian Dwarf) x Lesniak Hill D-M Dana (American Alpine))

A Pattie daughter... We finally kept one!  It's not that Good ol Pattie hasn't be accomodating.. She's produced something like 10 does and 3 bucks over her lifetime... They are just such popular kids, I never get a chance to keep any! :) As you can see, Belle has a nice wide rear leg set, and a lovely topline.  We expect her to be a great milker and producer of top quality homestead milkers.
