About Us

Located in the Bristol Hills of Western New York State, SM3Pines Farm saw its beginnings in 1996 as a hobby farm specializing in waterfowl. At that time, the "farm" was known as Stonegate Waterfowl. Shortly after our waterfowl "thing" was established, we took on the added challenge of breeding top quality Exhibition poultry... Black Australorps, Pekin Ducks, and Canada Geese specifically, though we tried many different breeds to see what we liked the best. 1998 saw the addition of a Whitetail buck and the first of my goat herd. Thus, the beginning of Stonegate Meadows as more of a farm, rather than just a property name. Today, SM3Pines Farm specializes in the breeding of Top Quality Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats, Alpines, and Miniature Alpines for milk and show, and High Quality Arabians for Endurance, Trail, and the show ring.

Now for a bit about "Us". :)

My name is Stacy Brockett, my husband is Ken, and our daughter is Riana. I'm a stay at home mom, and run the "farm" bit. I handle all the management, chores, and all that.

Riana helps me with the chores by feeding the dogs and helping carry flakes of hay to the pens... I couldn't get her to stop if I wanted to! She makes a bit of a mess, but she enjoys what she's doing anyway. ;) She's also learning how to milk "her" goat Pattie Sue, and ride her Arab mare, Imaana.

Ken has a small machine and welding shop in "his" barn, as well as working full time for the Town of Canandagiua Highway crew, and as an Adjunct Faculty member at the local college, where he teaches Martial Arts. He also helps out with the maintence of the farm, doing some construction, hay runs, and helping me clean the pens.

We are owned by two dogs, Keeper - my AKC Yellow lab female, and Gus, our Livestock Guardian.  Five cats, Puma, Wrangler, Levi,  Midnight, and Sparkle Tangerine.  Our Horses, Hu-Imaana, the Black Arab Mare, and granddaughter of *Simeon Shai, KT Escallata, daughter of Jobask and granddaughter of the immortal *WitezII, and ASA Ebony Pharoah, Black Stallion and grandson of the Immortal Saud El Ameer.

Our Nigerians are all Registered with AGS and ADGA, and some with NDGA.  Our Alpines are all ADGA Registered.  Our Mini Alpines are currently unregistered so that I may provide economical, productive milkers for homesteaders.

We are members of the following orgainzations: American Goat Society, Nigerian Dwarf Goat Association, American Dairy Goat Association, American Poultry Association, New York Miniature Dairy Goat Association, Nigerians Unlimited, and Arabian Horse Association.

We strive to be the best in whatever we do.
